Toys, Toys, Toy: Why We Can’t Help Buying Presents

If your house is anything like mine, you can’t set foot in any direction without stepping on one of your child’s toys.

Every evening after I put the children to bed, I tidy away their dolls and action figures.
Low and behold, as soon as my little ones are up in the morning, a bomb goes off in my living room and there are toys as far as the eye can see. must have noticed the same thing, because they have been investigating the gift spending habits of European adults. If you thought you were alone, surrounded by the mountain of your children’s toys, you can rest assured. British mums and dads spend more on toys than anyone else in Europe or the USA!

Apparently, we can’t help ourselves, and are always looking for the next holiday or celebration as an excuse to buy presents for our nearest and dearest.

So, with Christmas around the corner, don’t feel bad about spending so much on the latest games and kits that our children have been begging us for.
