National Trust Review with The Strawberry Fountain

We love a good family day out. I have written about the days out we have been on previously but we are always looking for new places for our kids to experience. The most enjoyable days out we have been on have been in the UK. We have so many amazing places here but some are not very well known or don’t get as much exposure in the media. You will always see adverts for theme parks and children’s attractions but what about getting back to nature?

Terri is a blogger from The Strawberry Fountain. She has put together this amazing round of National Trust reviews. All of the reviews have been written by parent bloggers. Based on their real honest experiences after family days out at National Trust attractions.

These cover the following areas; Cornwall, Devon and Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire, the Cotswolds, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of White, London, Wales, Northern Ireland and more!

You can also buy a National Trust Pass. This can use your card to visit over 500 places across the country. You can chose from an individual, joint, family or lifetime membership. Prices start from £10 per year for juniors and £69 for adults.

Here are some of my favourite days out around the country.

Tredegar House. Enjoy the house, gardens and parkland. Tredegar house also host a variety of half term activities for all the family to enjoy.

Hartfield Forest. This is a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Essex. It is also a National Nature Reserve and a Nature Conservation Review site. Hartfield Forest is Home to WestFest a music, crafts and more.

Aira Force and Ullswater is a showcase for the power and beauty of nature it is a place to escape the ordinary with beautiful scenery and waterfalls.
