iCig Review

I have always pretty much been an on and off smoker since I was a teenager.
I always said the only time I could imagine myself quitting was if I got pregnant. And sure enough when I found out I was pregnant I instantly quit! It wasn’t hard at all as the only thing I kept thinking was my baby comes first. It was only after the birth of my second son that I started again, but I had a lot going on in my life back then and I was stressed.
I decided to try to give up again so I went out and purchased one of those magic wand looking electronic cigarettes! It was huge! But it worked straight away. I think I am pretty good at sticking to things when I start but after a lot of use it broke due to having left it in my handbag with too much other stuff and it snapped so back on the cigarettes I went.
Then I was contacted by i-Cig to review their electronic cigarettes. I have seen these kind of ecigs before but I don’t know why I just assumed they were disposable or cheap so I hadn’t really thought to purchase one.
I was very pleasantly surprised when my i-Cig arrived, it is the same size as a normal cigarette and its lightweight too. It doesn’t require any liquids or oils and its easy to charge. I love the packaging it comes in which is essentially a normal cigarette box but when you open it up you’re greeted with your I-Cig, usb cable, and various flavour cartridge.
I instantly loved it.

The i-Cig is a device that simulates the functions of a cigarette without the harmful chemicals by substituting tobacco for cigarette flavoured nicotine. When you inhale on the device the air flow is detected by a pneumatic airflow sensor switch. A microprocessor inside the battery activates your atomiser which vaporises the liquid nicotine into a steam-mimicking the smoke from a cigarette. i-Cigs contain 95% less carcinogens than traditional cigarettes and so are a much safer option for smokers.
The i-cig is easy to put together and easy to use. You can choose a variety of different flavours and strengths.
The only thing I will say about the i-cig is that I found the strength wasn’t strong enough for me and I had chosen the 18mg cartridges I think I will try the 24mg next.
But overall there really isn’t anything that I dislike about the i-cig, I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about giving up cigarettes, and what’s more is that it retails at a fantastic £13.99!
For the purpose of this review I was sent one i-cig kit.
