Beaker Creatures

Who doesn’t love science play! Especially when it includes water? My 5 year old son has always had a fascination with water. Whether that be jumping in puddles, running the taps or playing in the bath, there’s just something about it that he loves. That’s why we love the Beaker Creatures range.

We have been sent the Beaker Creatures Whirling Wave Reactor and a number of reactor pods to review. I knew straight away this would be a big hit as it involves, water! This currently retails on Amazon for £14.63 (correct as of posting date).

Beaker Creatures Whirling Waves

This set is aimed at children 5 years and older. It is a very easy kit to use. You simply open the chamber and remove the pod holder, insert the Reactor Pod, return to its position, then fill the chamber with water. Your child can then use the handle on top to spin the pod around in the water. Watch as the water magically changes colour! Once you have given it a good spin, remove the holder and inside you will find your very own Beaker Creature.

Your child can use the identification card to discover which creature they have revealed. Why not see if you can collect them all! The fun can be repeated time and time again as you can buy the reactor pods separately.

Beaker Creatures

One experiment sees your child using the limited edition Frostonian. For this experiment you will need a bowl of warm water and a bowl of cold water. Place the Frostonian from one bowl to the next and watch as it magically changes colour from purple to blue.

The Beaker Creatures Whirling Waves Reactor is a huge hit in my household with both my 5 and 7 year old. It’s fun to come back to time and time again. I would definitely recommend this set, it would make a great gift.

For the purpose of this review we were sent one Whirling Waves Reactor Chamber and four Reactor Pods. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
