We've had our current TV for a good 6 or 7 years now. It's a pretty basic model which doesn't have anything built in to it and it's not particularly fancy!
Lately though it's started to act a bit...alien!
It decides that it doesn't want us to switch channels and insists on us watching children's TV programmes all day! This is unless I switch the whole thing off and wait for about half an hour for it to decide it would like to wake up now.
Not only that but a rather strange black foggy patch has also appeared in the corner and along the bottom of the screen. This makes igglepiggle and upsy daisy look a bit like they've dressed themselves in the dark with a mismatched two tone colour outfit.
Therefore we've decided it's time to buy a new TV. However it's not as easy as it used to be. These days there are so many choices to make it can be a little confusing. Do I want an lcd, led or plasma screen? Built in freeview? 28, 32 or 40 inch screen? A śmart TV or a not so smart TV?!
This is going to be more complex than I'd first thought!
Our children love watching their favourite cartoons on the TV, however our current TV is only 28 inches and it is mounted to the wall. I think a bigger screen is definitely needed! Plus my husband and I love our evenings when the kids are tucked up in bed, we can finally sit down with a takeaway and catch up on all our favourite shows.
I definitely want something that's got great picture and sound quality. I quite like the Panasonic 42"Smart Viera LED
As it’s a smart TV you have access to the internet and one swipe content sharing from your smart phone or tablet, it has 1600Hz backlight scanning and an advanced wide viewing angle as well as superior picture quality, perfect for our cosy movie nights in! But it will also keep the children entertained with its 3D feature!
Welcome to the not so scary tech future ME!
