Review and Giveaway: Rattle Me Bones

We love getting our family together for a games night, the children especially love this too.

In an age where everybody is so busy and always on their phones it is nice to be able to take some time out from our busy schedules to sit down as a family and enjoy some quality time together.

Rattle Me Bones is a thrilling rollick of an electronic game where young buccaneers try to steal Cap’n Boney’s possessions, which are hanging off his skeleton! But watch out, one false move and everyone will jump out of their skins as he rises up, shaking frantically…. And literally rattling his bones!

The game is easy to set up and only takes a few seconds. It is aimed at children aged 5 and up.

You load up the skeleton with his 14 possessions which include a sword, necklace and hat, spin the board, then carefully one by one you take it in turns to try to remove an item. If Cap’n Boney feels you stealing his goods he will jump up and shake! All the accessories are colour coded and if a player has no more items to remove from the skeleton they then have to ease a gold coin out of his treasure chest! If Cap’n Boney notices you and rattles then you have to return the piece and start again.

Once a player has successfully collected three pieces on their next go they can go straight in for the coveted Golden Hat, if the player is able to successfully remove his hat then that player wins the game!

The game is designed for 2-4 players and is hugely entertaining!

Each time Cap’n Boney rattled my children would laugh hysterically and scream! It is definitely a game that will be played over and over again for many years to come in our household.

This is a game that helps to develop fine motor skills, hand/eye co-ordination and build dexterity, and is guaranteed to provide endless hours of fun for players of all ages.

In the words of Cap’n Boney himself “Arrgh, me hearties and landlocked lubbers, this game be bone shakingly good!”
