Make Your Own Cake Pops

Cake Pops are perfect for kids birthday parties of quaint little tea parties, plus they’re fun!

You can decorate them with anything; chocolate, sprinkles, icing, you could even give them little animal faces if you wanted to!

Here is my quick guide to making your own!

Equipment You will need:
Cake Pop Silicone Mould
Cake Pop Sticks
Mixing Bowl
Spoon
Whisk

Ingredients:
40g Butter
100g Self Raising Flour
100g Caster Sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
Optional; vanilla extract

In your mixing bowl stir together the flour and caster sugar
Fold in the butter and mix
Next add the egg, milk and vanilla extract

Whisk together until smooth

Grease the moulds with a little bit of butter to stop them sticking.

Half fill the silicone mould with the mixture, pop the top silicone lid on and place in oven on gas mark 2 for around 12-15 minutes

Leave to cool then pop out and decorate! I decided to add some icing and sprinkles!
